You begin in E Ward, mine and complete quests for money, rank up through increasingly difficult wards, and eventually unlock prestige progression. Airidale was founded in 2017 by Kobe, also known as InvalidZ. JohnnyGooodTime joined as co-owner in May 2018 and became the sole owner in October 2022. Today, Airidale is owned by JohnnyGooodTime and his wife, CamGooodTime. Longtime players may also recognize JohnnyGooodTime as JohnnyACosta, DevTechGames, or Dev003, and CamGooodTime as CamIsAQTPie. ## Your Path Through the Prison Airidale has five main prison wards: E, D, C, B, and A. Each ward contains four ranks, so your complete path is: `E4 → E3 → E2 → E1 → D4 → D3 → D2 → D1 → C4 → C3 → C2 → C1 → B4 → B3 → B2 → B1 → A4 → A3 → A2 → A1` Everyone starts at E4. A1 is the highest regular rank and is where prestige progression begins. ## What You Will Find in Each Ward Every ward gives you new places to explore and new ways to progress, including: - Rentable cells. - A regular mine containing ores. - A wood mine. - Passive and hostile mob farms. - Daily and weekly quests. Quests can award money and other useful rewards while giving you another reason to explore each ward. ## Prestige Progression After reaching A1, you can prestige and begin the rank journey again from E4. Airidale currently has 10 prestige levels. Your first prestige unlocks the prestige area, which includes its own mine, wood mine, and rentable cafeteria cells. These rentable spaces may also be described in game as prestige shops. --- # Complete Player Guide Canonical URL: https://www.airidale.net/guides/complete-player-guide Category: Getting Started Summary: A complete index of commands, cells, shops, tools, crates, toggles, and everyday server systems. Source reviewed: 2026-08-05T18:52:45.295637+00:00 Source: https://github.com/AiridaleMC/airidale-guides/blob/5cfaf58b85f1d6d4fc5755a7f21492e1efffc3ec/guides/complete-player-guide.md ## Start with the Help Menu Use `/helpmenu` whenever you are unsure where to find a feature. It connects you to the server's main player guides and menus. Useful shortcuts include: | Command | Opens | |---|---| | `/rules` | Server rules | | `/bosses` | Ward boss guide | | `/toggle` | Personal settings | | `/boosts` | Active mcMMO boost timers | | `/ptop` | Prestige leaderboard | The website has dedicated guides for [Ward Quests](/guides/ward-quests), [Enchanting and Soul Costs](/guides/enchanting-and-soul-costs), and the [Referral Program](/guides/referral-program). Cell information is covered below. Some shops are opened by NPCs instead of commands. Visit the Lunch Lady for quest-reset vouchers, Totems, keys, and other Scrap purchases. ## Rules and Fair Play Use `/rules` for the complete in-game presentation. The core expectations are: 1. Do not use hacked or modified clients that provide an unfair advantage. OptiFine is allowed. 2. Do not exploit glitches, leave the prison map, or duplicate items. 3. Do not advertise other servers or communities. 4. Do not use alternate accounts. 5. Going AFK is at your own risk. 6. Keep chat appropriate and respectful. 7. Staff decisions are final. 8. Do not ask staff members for a staff rank; use the official application process. 9. Use English in public chat so it can be moderated. 10. Do not trade in-game items for real-world money. 11. Item names may use no more than two magic-character sequences. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, open a Discord support ticket before doing it. ## Ranking Up and Prestiging Right-click the Warden near spawn to rank up or prestige. Your path begins at E4 and ends at A1 before prestige. Before entering a new ward: - Empty your old ward cell. The cell is released during the ward change. - Finish quests in the ward you are leaving because their progress is reset. - Check the exact live rank price before confirming. Donor and prestige cells are not released during an ordinary ward change. See the [Ranks and Rankup Costs](/guides/ranks-and-rankups) and [Prestige Guide](/guides/prestige-guide) for the full progression details. ## Cells and Prestige Shops Regular ward cells are tied to your ward progress and are rented for seven days at a time. Prestige shops, also called prestige cells, are rentable spaces in the cafeteria prestige area. They require P1, cost $100,000 for seven days, and measure `3 × 2 × 3` blocks. Donor cells begin at Knight rank and remain available after prestige. Visit `/warp donate` to explore the donor area and preview current donor benefits. When any ward cell expires or is released, items inside its containers are moved to that ward's Auction House. ## Ward Bosses Use `/bosses` to open the boss guide. Bosses are part of weekly ward quests and can also drop rare items. Rare chances are not guaranteed. | Ward | Boss | Health | Damage | mcMMO XP | Rare chances | |---|---|---:|---:|---:|---| | E | Undead Prisoner | 40 | 4 | 250 | Haste item: 0.05% | | D | Lost Miner | 60 | 6 | 500 | Contraband Kingpin key: 0.2%; Haste item: 0.06% | | C | Sewer Witch | 100 | 8 | 750 | Prison Surgeon key: 0.3%; Haste item: 0.07% | | B | Ice Warrior | 125 | 10 | 1,000 | Prison Executioner key: 0.4%; Haste item: 0.08% | | A | Nether Stalker | 175 | 12 | 1,500 | Prison Warden key: 0.4%; Haste item: 0.1% | Gang boss keys from D through A Ward start the encounters described in the [Gangs and Bosses guide](/guides/gangs-and-bosses). ## Ward Quests and Reset Vouchers Quest tiers follow ward progression: Tier I belongs to E Ward and Tier V belongs to A Ward. Read the [Ward Quests guide](/guides/ward-quests) for all objectives and rewards. The Lunch Lady's Quest Reset Shop sells Mining, Wood, Butcher, and Slayer reset vouchers: | Quest tier | Voucher price | |---|---:| | I | 45 Scrap | | II | 90 Scrap | | III | 135 Scrap | | IV | 180 Scrap | | V | 225 Scrap | You need enough Scrap and an open inventory slot. Voucher cooldowns are separate from the normal quest cooldown, which you can check by speaking with the quest NPC. ## Lunch Lady Shops The Lunch Lady sells: - 1 Soul for 100 Scrap. - Netherite Upgrade Smithing Templates for 250 Scrap. - Tag Crate Keys for 250 Scrap. - Contraband Kingpin keys for 750 Scrap. - Prison Executioner keys for 1,000 Scrap. - Prison Surgeon keys for 1,000 Scrap. - Prison Warden keys for 1,250 Scrap. - Quest-reset vouchers and Totems through their own shop menus. Physical item purchases require an open inventory slot. ## Totems Hold a Totem to receive its effect: | Totem | Effect | Cost | |---|---|---:| | Vitality | Permanent extra hearts while held | 1,000 Scrap | | Speed | Permanent extra speed while held | 5,000 Scrap | | Fishing | Doubles Fishing Scrap, Souls, and Keys while held | 15,000 Scrap | | Haste | Haste II for 5 minutes, with a 30-minute base cooldown | 20,000 Scrap | To activate a Haste Totem, place it in your offhand and right-click. Prestige levels reduce its cooldown. ## Enchanting, Repairs, and Custom Tools Airidale enchanting uses physical Souls from your inventory, and costs vary by enchantment, level, and item material. After unlocking Prestige Enchanting at P5, shift-right-click the ordinary enchanting table to open it. Read [Enchanting and Soul Costs](/guides/enchanting-and-soul-costs) before spending Souls. Anvils outside spawn can repair and rename items. Repair prices depend on material and remaining durability. Airidale custom tools are unbreakable Netherite tools available from crates or the store. Visit `/warp crates` to find the crate area, and see [Common Player Questions](/guides/common-questions) for each custom tool effect. ## Fishing Treasures Use `/fishing` to view your current treasure chances. Possible treasure types are grouped by rarity: - **Common:** Leather, Leather Boots, Bowl, Kelp, Gunpowder, Apple, Rotten Flesh, Brick, Poisonous Potato, Sea Pickle, Lily Pad, and Suspicious Stew. - **Uncommon:** Carrot, Potato, Beetroot, Sweet Berries, Pumpkin, Egg, Nautilus Shell, Heart of the Sea, and Mushrooms. - **Rare:** Sugar Cane, Tropical Fish, Pufferfish, Bamboo, Prismarine materials, Resin Clump, Amethyst Shard, Cocoa Beans, Ink Sac, Flowering Azalea Leaves, and Firefly Bush. - **Epic:** Concrete colors, Pink Petals, Wildflowers, Melon, Pitcher Plant, Torchflower, and Glow Berries. - **Legendary:** Shulker Shell, Bow, White Wool, Sand, Enchanted Golden Apple, Froglights, and Glowstone. - **Mythic:** Honeycomb, Nether Star, String, Dirt, Grass Block, Moss Block, Spore Blossom, and Copper Golem Statue. ## Gangs Gang leaderboard progress comes from mcMMO experience earned by members. The leaderboard rolls over Sunday at 9:00 PM Eastern Time. - `/gang top` shows the leaderboard. - `/gang contributions` shows member contributions. - `/gang claim` collects an eligible weekly reward. - Gangs can have up to five members and reach level 100. - Gang Chat unlocks at level 10, Alliances at level 50, and XP Share at level 100. - Gang storage is shared; every member can remove stored items. Read [Gangs and Bosses](/guides/gangs-and-bosses) before buying or activating a gang boss key. ## Mine and mcMMO Timers The Mine Reset Timers option in the Help Menu shows the current timer for regular and donor mines. Use its refresh button for an updated reading. Use `/boosts` to see whether the 50% Fishing, Mining, or Swords mcMMO XP boosts are active and how much time remains. ## Personal Settings Use `/toggle` to manage your personal settings. Available options include: - PvP, drop, shop, contest, airdrop, join, and quit notifications. - Junker Chat and Coinflip broadcasts. - Scoreboard and inventory-full alerts. - Automatic ward effects and mcMMO ability alerts. - Gang friendly fire. - Chat spam controls. - Whether you accept payments from other players. Each setting has a short anti-spam delay before it can be changed again. ## Crates Crates are opened with virtual keys at `/warp crates`, which can be earned by several ways in-game, by voting or by purchasing Key Alls from the store. - Left-click a crate to use one key. - Shift-left-click to open up to 10 keys. - Right-click to preview rewards and displayed chances. See the [Crates guide](/guides/crates) for details. ## Referrals, Interactive Chat, and Junker - The [Referral Program](/guides/referral-program) explains how to invite a brand-new player before they join and how both players earn a virtual Epic Crate Key at C4. - The [Interactive Chat guide](/guides/interactive-chat) covers item sharing, inventories, mentions, information tags, and privacy. - The [Junker and Auto-Junker guide](/guides/junker-and-auto-junker) covers recycling payouts, protected materials, filters, statistics, and milestones. ## Scrap Dealer and Gamble Bar The Scrap Dealer offers two gambles: | Option | Cost | Reward level | |---|---:|---| | Low Roller | 25 Scrap | Normal Shard reward | | High Roller | 250 Scrap | Ten times the Low Roller amount | | Super High Roller | 2500 Scrap | Ten times the High Roller amount | Gamble Bar drinks each have a 47% normal win chance and a 1% super-lucky chance: | Drink | Cost | Normal win | Super-lucky win | |---|---:|---:|---:| | Wine | $500 | $1,000 | $2,000 | | Aperol | $7,500 | $15,000 | $30,000 | | Champagne | $25,000 | $50,000 | $100,000 | | Vodka | $125,000 | $250,000 | $500,000 | | Absinthe | $250,000 | $500,000 | $1,000,000 | | Everclear | $1,000,000 | $2,000,000 | $4,000,000 | ## Creating a Player Shop Player shops use a chest and a nearby sign: 1. Place a chest and put the item you want to trade inside it. 2. Place a sign one block away, such as directly above the chest. 3. Leave line 1 blank; your name is filled automatically. 4. Put the number of items per transaction on line 2. 5. Put the buy and/or sell prices on line 3. 6. Put `?`, the item name, or the item ID on line 4. Example—the first line is intentionally blank: ```text 64 B 10:S 5 ? ``` This shop lets another player buy 64 items for $10 or sell 64 items to the shop for $5. ### Price Formats - `B 10` means players can buy from the shop for $10. - `S 5` means players can sell to the shop for $5. - `B 10:S 5` supports both directions. Use `/iteminfo` while holding an item if you need its exact shop name. Look at an existing shop and use `/shopinfo` to inspect its owner, item, prices, and status. If players cannot buy, check the chest's stock and make sure line 3 includes a `B` price. If they cannot sell, check for empty chest space and an `S` price. --- # Common Player Questions Canonical URL: https://www.airidale.net/guides/common-questions Category: Getting Started Summary: Direct answers about custom tools, currencies, crates, donor kits, chat, arenas, and server support. Source reviewed: 2026-08-05T18:35:29.937275+00:00 Source: https://github.com/AiridaleMC/airidale-guides/blob/5cfaf58b85f1d6d4fc5755a7f21492e1efffc3ec/guides/common-questions.md ## Special Pickaxes and Axes ### What does a Bountiful Pickaxe do? The [Bountiful Pickaxe](https://store.airidale.net/package/3489783) gives you the best adjacent block around the block you mine. ### What does an Explosive Pickaxe do? The [Explosive Pickaxe](https://store.airidale.net/package/3489784) breaks a `3 × 3 × 1` area at once. ### What does an Inventory Pickaxe do? The [Inventory Pickaxe](https://store.airidale.net/package/3489789) sends mined blocks directly to your inventory. ### What does a Smelter's Pickaxe do? The [Smelter's Pickaxe](https://store.airidale.net/package/3489787) smelts compatible blocks as you mine them. For example, iron ore produces iron ingots instead of raw iron. ### What do Bedrock or plain Unbreakable tools do? [Bedrock Pickaxes](https://store.airidale.net/package/4243319) and [Bedrock Axes](https://store.airidale.net/package/5250363) are unbreakable but do not have another special effect. Other named Airidale tools can be unbreakable and still include effects such as Bountiful, Explosive, Inventory, Smelter's, or Lumber. ### What does a Lumber Axe do? The [Lumber Axe](https://store.airidale.net/package/3489788) breaks up to a `3 × 3 × 3` area of wood or logs. ## Scrap and the Lunch Lady ### What is Scrap used for? Scrap is a special currency used mainly at the Lunch Lady's shops. It can also be gambled with the Phil NPC. ### What can I buy from the [Lunch Lady](/guides/npc-locations#lunch-lady-scrap-shops)? Her current Scrap purchases include: - Souls for 100 Scrap each. - Mining, Wood, Butcher, and Slayer quest-reset vouchers. Prices depend on the quest level. - Netherite Upgrade Smithing Templates for 250 Scrap. - Totems. - One Tag Crate Key for 250 Scrap. - Physical gang boss keys costing between 750 and 1,250 Scrap. There is currently no Miscellaneous or Weekly quest-reset voucher. ## [Souls and Enchanting](/guides/enchanting-and-soul-costs.md) ### What are Souls used for? Souls are the currency used to [enchant](/guides/enchanting-and-soul-costs) equipment on Airidale. They are physical items, so they must be in your inventory when you enchant something. Place an item into an enchanting table and hover over an enchantment to see its Soul cost before buying it. ### Where can I get Souls? Souls can come from mining, woodcutting, killing mobs or animals, fishing, and crates. You can also trade with other players or buy Souls from the [Lunch Lady](/guides/npc-locations#lunch-lady--scrap-shops) for 100 Scrap each. ## Disenchanting Safely ### What is the difference between safe and risky disenchanting? - **Safe disenchanting** removes the enchantments and returns your item. It does not give you enchantment books. - **Risky disenchanting** always destroys your item. It may return some enchantments as Soulbound Books, depending on the item's material. Soulbound Books can be applied to compatible equipment for an experience cost. Never use risky disenchanting on an item you are not prepared to lose. ## Upgrading Diamond Gear to Netherite ### What do I need for a Netherite upgrade? Use a smithing table with: - A Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template from the [Lunch Lady](/guides/npc-locations#lunch-lady--scrap-shops). - One Netherite Ingot. - The Diamond tool or armor piece being upgraded. - Enough Souls to cover the material-price difference for its [enchantments](/guides/enchanting-and-soul-costs). ## Donor Kits ### How often can I claim a donor kit? Each [donor](https://store.airidale.net/category/ranks) kit can be claimed once every seven days. ## Mine Progression ### Which regular ward mines are better? Regular mines improve from [E](/guides/ranks-and-rankups#e-ward) Mine through [D](/guides/ranks-and-rankups#d-ward), [C](/guides/ranks-and-rankups#c-ward), [B](/guides/ranks-and-rankups#b-ward), and finally [A](/guides/ranks-and-rankups#a-ward) Mine. ### Which donor mines are better? Donor mines improve in this order: [Journeyman](https://store.airidale.net/package/3489749), [Noble](https://store.airidale.net/package/3489757), [Knight](https://store.airidale.net/package/3489754), [Elder](https://store.airidale.net/package/3489763), [Hero](https://store.airidale.net/package/3489766), and [Legend](https://store.airidale.net/package/5201742). A Mine is roughly comparable to Knight Mine, while Elder, Hero, and Legend are stronger. ### Do the mines contain Diamond or Emerald Blocks? No. Diamond Ore and Emerald Ore are the best materials found in regular and [donor](https://store.airidale.net/category/ranks) mines. ## Smugglers ### How much do smugglers pay? Each [smuggler](/guides/npc-locations#e-ward-smugglers-den) pays twice the normal server-shop price for the items that the [smuggler](/guides/npc-locations#e-ward-smugglers-den) accepts. ## Crate Keys ### Where are my crate keys stored? Fishing, Mining, Mob, Woodcutting, and Legendary keys are virtual. Use `/keys` to view them. Tag Crate Keys and gang boss keys bought from the [Lunch Lady](/guides/npc-locations#lunch-lady--scrap-shops) are physical items and must remain in your inventory. ### Where do I open crates? Visit `/warp crates` to find the crate area. ## Ward Auction Houses ### What happens to items when I lose or leave a cell? Items stored in [cell](/guides/complete-player-guide#cells-and-prestige-shops) containers, including chests and barrels, are moved to that ward's Auction House when the cell expires, is released, or is taken during a ward change. Each ward has its own Auction House. Look for the large `AH` letters above its entrance. ## Interactive Chat ### How do I show an item or inventory in chat? - `[item]` shares the item in your main hand. - `[inventory]` shares your inventory. - `[ender]` or `[e]` shares your Ender Chest. These tags only create an interactive preview; they do not give another player your items. ## Ward Effects ### How do permanent ward effects work? In every ward, reaching level 2 grants a permanent Speed effect and reaching level 1 grants permanent Haste I. Use `/effects` to turn your unlocked ward effects on or off. ## Prestige Ender Chest Access ### What command does Prestige 1 unlock? [Prestige](/guides/prestige-guide) 1 unlocks command access to your ordinary Ender Chest through `/enderchest` or `/ec`. ## Mob Arenas ### How do Kino and Yard work? Kino and Yard are wave-based mob arenas that progress from wave 1 through wave 100. Rewards include Scrap and crate keys. A full solo completion can take around two hours, so plan enough time before starting. ## Discord Support and Rules ### How do I contact staff? Use `/discord` to join the [Airidale Discord](https://discord.com/invite/airidale), then create a ticket in the support area. ### Where can I read the rules? Use `/rules` to open the in-game [rules](/guides/complete-player-guide#rules-and-fair-play). If a situation is unclear, ask staff in a [Discord](https://discord.com/invite/airidale) ticket before taking a risk. --- # Ranks and Rankup Costs Canonical URL: https://www.airidale.net/guides/ranks-and-rankups Category: Progression Summary: Every regular prison rank, its base price, and each ward transition from E4 through A1. The prices below are the base costs for players who have not prestiged. Prestige multipliers can increase these prices on later playthroughs. Each listed price is the amount needed to reach that rank, not a running total. ## Complete Rank Path `E4 → E3 → E2 → E1 → D4 → D3 → D2 → D1 → C4 → C3 → C2 → C1 → B4 → B3 → B2 → B1 → A4 → A3 → A2 → A1` A1 is the highest regular rank. Once you reach it, you can begin prestige progression. ## E Ward | Rank reached | Base cost | |---|---:| | E4 | Starting rank | | E3 | $15,000 | | E2 | $20,000 | | E1 | $30,000 | ## D Ward | Rank reached | Base cost | |---|---:| | D4 | $45,000 | | D3 | $70,000 | | D2 | $90,000 | | D1 | $110,000 | ## C Ward | Rank reached | Base cost | |---|---:| | C4 | $160,000 | | C3 | $235,000 | | C2 | $290,000 | | C1 | $350,000 | ## B Ward | Rank reached | Base cost | |---|---:| | B4 | $475,000 | | B3 | $690,000 | | B2 | $900,000 | | B1 | $1,200,000 | ## A Ward | Rank reached | Base cost | |---|---:| | A4 | $1,700,000 | | A3 | $2,600,000 | | A2 | $3,600,000 | | A1 | $5,000,000 | ## What Happens When You Enter a New Ward Moving from E1 to D4, D1 to C4, C1 to B4, or B1 to A4 brings you into a new ward. When this happens: - Your cell in the ward you are leaving is released. - Your weekly quest progress for the ward you are leaving is reset. Empty your old cell and finish any weekly quest progress you want to keep before crossing into the next ward. --- # Prestige Guide Canonical URL: https://www.airidale.net/guides/prestige-guide Category: Progression Summary: Prestige requirements, resets, rewards, and unlocks from Prestige 1 through Prestige 10. There are 10 prestige levels, from P1 through P10. Prestiging begins a new rank journey and makes several permanent changes to your current progress. Before confirming, make sure you understand what will reset and move anything you want to keep out of your A Ward cell. ## What Resets Every prestige: - Returns your regular prison rank to E4. - Resets your money balance. - Releases your A Ward cell and sends its stored container items to the A Ward Auction House. - Resets all of your quest progress. - Returns you to spawn. - Clears your active effects. Donor and prestige cells are not released by this reset. ## What You Receive Every prestige awards Scrap and one virtual Legendary Crate Key. Higher prestige levels also improve daily access to the prestige commissary and reduce the cooldown of Haste Totems. | Prestige | Scrap | Daily commissary access | Haste Totem cooldown | New perk | |---|---:|---:|---:|---| | P1 | 1,000 | 1 minute | 29 minutes | Prestige tag and `/enderchest` or `/ec` | | P2 | 1,100 | 2 minutes | 28 minutes | Auto-Junker through `/junker auto` | | P3 | 1,200 | 3 minutes | 27 minutes | — | | P4 | 1,300 | 4 minutes | 26 minutes | — | | P5 | 1,400 | 5 minutes | 25 minutes | Prestige Enchanting | | P6 | 1,500 | 6 minutes | 24 minutes | — | | P7 | 1,600 | 7 minutes | 23 minutes | — | | P8 | 1,700 | 8 minutes | 22 minutes | — | | P9 | 1,800 | 9 minutes | 21 minutes | — | | P10 | 2,000 | 10 minutes | 20 minutes | — | Use `/commissary cooldown` to check your remaining prestige-commissary access time. ## Important Perk Unlocks ### Prestige 1 P1 unlocks: - The Prestige chat tag. - Command access to your ordinary Ender Chest with `/enderchest` or `/ec`. - The prestige area, including the timed commissary and rentable prestige cells or shops. ### Prestige 2 P2 unlocks Auto-Junker through `/junker auto`. Auto-Junker automatically recycles ordinary items you add to its filter and pays their normal Junker value. Protected items and items with names, lore, enchantments, damage, or other special data cannot be added to the filter. ### Prestige 5 P5 unlocks Prestige Enchanting. Shift-right-click the normal enchanting table to open the Prestige Enchanter. Prestige Enchanting offers specific higher enchantment levels rather than unlimited upgrades. Review the Enchanting and Soul Costs guide before spending Souls. ## Rank Prices After Prestiging Rank prices increase after prestige, but the available reference information disagrees about the exact multiplier for each level. For an accurate price, trust the amount shown by the live rankup interface before confirming. The Ranks and Rankup Costs guide lists the base P0 prices for comparison. --- # Ward Quests Canonical URL: https://www.airidale.net/guides/ward-quests Category: Quests & NPCs Summary: Objectives, cooldowns, deliveries, and rewards for every daily and weekly ward quest. Source reviewed: 2026-08-03T20:09:12.329128+00:00 Source: https://github.com/AiridaleMC/airidale-guides/blob/5cfaf58b85f1d6d4fc5755a7f21492e1efffc3ec/guides/enchanting-and-soul-costs.md ## How Soul Costs Work Enchanting on Airidale uses physical Souls from your inventory. The price of each level is calculated as: `level's base cost × item's material multiplier` When buying more than one level at once, calculate each new level separately and add those prices together. For example, upgrading a Diamond Sword from Looting I to Looting III buys both Looting II and Looting III: - Looting II: `10 × 6 = 60 Souls` - Looting III: `20 × 6 = 120 Souls` - **Total: 180 Souls** Always check the price shown in the enchanting menu before confirming. ## Material Multipliers | Material | Multiplier | |---|---:| | Leather | ×2 | | Wooden | ×2 | | Stone | ×3 | | Copper | ×4 | | Golden | ×4 | | Iron | ×5 | | Diamond | ×6 | | Netherite | ×7 | | Chainmail | ×1 | | Turtle | ×1 | | Bow, Crossbow, Fishing Rod, Shield, or Mace | ×1 | ## Enchantment Conflicts The enchanter will not combine: - Sharpness, Smite, and Bane of Arthropods with one another. - Fortune and Silk Touch with one another. ## Reading the Cost Tables The tables below show the **base cost of each individual level** before the material multiplier. A row such as `1 / 3 / 7` means level I costs 1 base Soul, level II costs 3, and level III costs 7. Only compatible item and enchantment combinations appear in the enchanting menu. ## Pickaxes | Enchantment | Base cost by level | |---|---| | Efficiency I–V | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 / 31 | | Unbreaking I–III | 3 / 9 / 18 | | Fortune I–III | 8 / 20 / 50 | | Silk Touch I | 32 | | Mending I | 150 | ## Swords and Spears Swords and Spears use the same base costs: | Enchantment | Base cost by level | |---|---| | Sharpness I–V | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 / 31 | | Looting I–III | 5 / 10 / 20 | | Smite I–V | 1 / 2 / 4 / 7 / 12 | | Knockback I–II | 5 / 15 | | Fire Aspect I–II | 5 / 15 | | Unbreaking I–III | 3 / 9 / 18 | | Mending I | 108 | ## Maces Maces have a ×1 multiplier. | Enchantment | Base cost by level | |---|---| | Density I–V | 6 / 18 / 42 / 90 / 186 | | Smite I–V | 6 / 12 / 24 / 42 / 72 | | Fire Aspect I–II | 30 / 90 | | Breach I–IV | 18 / 54 / 108 / 180 | | Unbreaking I–III | 18 / 54 / 108 | | Mending I | 450 | ## Axes | Enchantment | Base cost by level | |---|---| | Efficiency I–V | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 / 31 | | Sharpness I–V | 3 / 6 / 14 / 30 / 62 | | Fortune I–III | 8 / 20 / 50 | | Unbreaking I–III | 3 / 9 / 18 | | Mending I | 108 | ## Shovels | Enchantment | Base cost by level | |---|---| | Efficiency I–V | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 / 31 | | Unbreaking I–III | 3 / 9 / 18 | | Mending I | 108 | ## Hoes | Enchantment | Base cost by level | |---|---| | Efficiency I–V | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 / 31 | | Unbreaking I–III | 3 / 9 / 18 | | Mending I | 108 | | Loyalty I | 300 | ## Bows Bows have a ×1 multiplier. | Enchantment | Base cost by level | |---|---| | Power I–V | 5 / 15 / 35 / 75 / 155 | | Punch I–II | 25 / 75 | | Unbreaking I–III | 15 / 45 / 90 | | Flame I | 250 | | Infinity I | 100 | | Mending I | 200 | ## Crossbows Crossbows have a ×1 multiplier. | Enchantment | Base cost by level | |---|---| | Piercing I–IV | 5 / 15 / 35 / 75 | | Multishot I–II | 25 / 75 | | Quick Charge I–II | 25 / 75 | | Unbreaking I–III | 15 / 45 / 90 | | Mending I | 200 | ## Fishing Rods Fishing Rods have a ×1 multiplier. | Enchantment | Base cost by level | |---|---| | Lure I–III | 10 / 50 / 170 | | Unbreaking I–III | 15 / 45 / 90 | | Mending I | 150 | ## Shields Shields have a ×1 multiplier. | Enchantment | Base cost by level | |---|---| | Unbreaking I–III | 15 / 45 / 90 | | Mending I | 50 | ## Helmets These costs also apply to Turtle Helmets with their ×1 material multiplier. | Enchantment | Base cost by level | |---|---| | Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Fire Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Blast Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Projectile Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Thorns I–III | 5 / 10 / 25 | | Respiration I–III | 1 / 3 / 9 | | Aqua Affinity I | 9 | | Unbreaking I–III | 3 / 9 / 18 | | Mending I | 108 | ## Chestplates | Enchantment | Base cost by level | |---|---| | Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Fire Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Blast Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Projectile Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Thorns I–III | 5 / 10 / 25 | | Unbreaking I–III | 3 / 9 / 18 | | Mending I | 108 | ## Leggings | Enchantment | Base cost by level | |---|---| | Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Fire Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Blast Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Projectile Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Thorns I–III | 5 / 10 / 25 | | Swift Sneak I–III | 3 / 6 / 15 | | Unbreaking I–III | 3 / 9 / 18 | | Mending I | 108 | ## Boots | Enchantment | Base cost by level | |---|---| | Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Fire Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Blast Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Projectile Protection I–IV | 1 / 3 / 7 / 15 | | Thorns I–III | 5 / 10 / 25 | | Feather Falling I–IV | 1 / 3 / 9 / 27 | | Depth Strider I–III | 5 / 10 / 25 | | Unbreaking I–III | 3 / 9 / 18 | | Mending I | 108 | ## Prestige Enchanting Prestige Enchanting unlocks at P5. Each prestige level gives you one minute of access per day, from one minute at P1 to 10 minutes at P10. This timed area is separate from the [Smuggler's Den](/guides/npc-locations#e-ward-smugglers-den) passes sold for 333, 666, or 999 Scrap. ## Ward Cells and Auction Houses Ward cells are rented for seven days. If a cell expires, is released, or is taken during a ward change, items stored in its containers are moved to that ward's physical Auction House. Auction House items are placed into chests where other players can purchase them. Empty your cell before ranking into a new ward if you do not want your stored items sent there. | Ward cell | Rank required | Seven-day rent | Interior size | |---|---|---:|---| | E Ward | E3 | $5,000 | `5 × 5 × 4` | | D Ward | D4 | $10,000 | `6 × 5 × 4` | | C Ward | C4 | $20,000 | `6 × 6 × 4` | | B Ward | B4 | $35,000 | `7 × 6 × 4` | | A Ward | A4 | $50,000 | `7 × 7 × 4` | ## Donor Cells [Donor](https://store.airidale.net/category/ranks) cells begin at [Knight](https://store.airidale.net/package/3489754) rank. They are separate from prison wards and are not lost when you rank up or [prestige](/guides/prestige-guide) [commissary](/guides/npc-locations#commissary-guard). | Donor rank | Rank price | Seven-day cell rent | Interior size | |---|---:|---:|---| | [Knight](https://store.airidale.net/package/3489754) | $50 | $60,000 | `5 × 5 × 5` | | [Elder](https://store.airidale.net/package/3489763) | $100 | $80,000 | `7 × 7 × 5` | | [Hero](https://store.airidale.net/package/3489766) | $150 | $100,000 | `9 × 9 × 5` | | [Legend](https://store.airidale.net/package/5201742) | $200 | $120,000 | `11 × 11 × 5` | Visit `/warp donate` to preview donor ranks, mines, tools, and other current donor benefits before making a purchase. ## Smuggler's Den Passes [Smuggler's Den](/guides/npc-locations#e-ward-smugglers-den) passes let you bulk-sell selected mined materials for twice the normal server-shop price. The brokers are at the bottom of the well in the E Ward animal area. | Broker | Pass cost | Materials accepted | |---|---:|---| | Hector | 333 Scrap | Gold, Iron, and Copper | | Shane | 666 Scrap | Diamond, Gold, and Copper | | Mia | 999 Scrap | Emerald, Gold, and Iron | ## mcMMO Progression mcMMO adds long-term skill levels and abilities to activities such as mining and fishing. Higher levels require increasingly more experience; for example, Mining levels 1–630 require roughly as much total experience as levels 630–791. ### Super Breaker Super Breaker is an active Mining ability unlocked at Mining level 100. - Activate it by right-clicking, or by shift-right-clicking when using a Totem. - Its base cooldown is four minutes. - Its duration gains one second for every 50 Mining levels, up to the level-1,000 cap. - While active, it adds five enchantment levels to your pickaxe. - Triple drops are enabled during the ability. ### Double Drops Double Drops is a passive Mining ability unlocked at level 250. It can cause a mined block to drop twice. - It works with Silk Touch. - The chance increases with Mining level and reaches 100% at level 1,000. - Airidale [custom pickaxes](https://store.airidale.net/category/1462765) can process blocks differently, so do not assume every custom-tool effect will multiply a Double Drop in the same way. ## Risky Disenchanting Risky disenchanting always destroys the item. In exchange, each enchantment has a chance to return as a Soulbound Book that can be applied to compatible equipment for an experience cost. Better materials have better recovery chances, but the item itself is never returned. Use safe disenchanting if you are not prepared to lose it. ## Scrap and Souls Scrap comes mainly from mining, but it can also be earned through crates, fishing, mobs, and woodcutting. It is used for Totems, Souls, quest-reset vouchers, [Smuggler's Den](/guides/npc-locations#e-ward-smugglers-den) passes, gang boss keys, and other server systems. Souls are physical items used for enchanting. They can come from mining, woodcutting, mobs, animals, fishing, and crates. You can also trade for them or buy them from the [Lunch Lady](/guides/npc-locations#lunch-lady-scrap-shops) for 100 Scrap each. ## Totems and Death Risk Totems provide effects while held, but they can be lost like ordinary items if you die while carrying them. | Totem | Effect | |---|---| | Speed | Speed II while held | | Vitality | Two extra hearts while held | | Fishing | Doubled Fishing Scrap, Souls, and Keys while held | | Haste | Haste II for five minutes with a 30-minute base cooldown | Activate a Haste Totem by placing it in your offhand and right-clicking. [Prestige](/guides/prestige-guide) levels reduce its cooldown. ## Voting and VoteParty Use `/vote` in game or visit the [Airidale vote page](/vote) to access the five voting sites. Each site normally has a 24-hour delay and awards one virtual Vote Crate Key. Use `/votetop` to see the voting leaderboard. VoteParty activates when the online counter reaches 500 votes: - Every player currently online receives one virtual Rare Crate Key. - Eligible contributors who are offline can receive the offline reward when they return. - At least one vote is required to qualify as a contributor. - A vote cast while offline does not increase the live VoteParty counter. Monthly voting recognition is enabled, but the current automatic setup does not list a store-credit prize. Do not rely on older prize advertisements unless staff announces a current promotion. ## Armor Trim Sources | Activity crate | Possible armor trims | |---|---| | Fishing | Dune, Coast, Tide, and Rib | | Mining | Shaper, Wayfinder, Wild, Flow, and Silence | | Mob | Ward, Bolt, Eye, and Sentry | | Woodcutting | Host, Vex, Spire, Snout, and Raiser | ## Rank Prices After Prestige Base prices are listed in the [Ranks and Rankup Costs guide](/guides/ranks-and-rankups). Prices rise after prestige, but available sources disagree about the exact multiplier. Use the amount displayed by the live Warden interface rather than calculating from an older price chart. ## Discord Support Use `/discord` to join the Airidale community [Discord](https://discord.com/invite/airidale) and open a support ticket for in-game or store help. ## Automatic Contests Airidale rotates between individual Mining, individual Fishing, cooperative Mining, and cooperative Fishing contests. - A new contest is scheduled every three hours. - Each contest lasts 30 minutes. - Use `/contest time` to check the current timing. - Contest announcements can be controlled through your personal settings. ### Individual Mining Individual Mining is based on finding lucky blocks rather than total blocks mined. - Below 30 players online, an eligible block has a 0.01% lucky-block chance. - At 30 or more players, the chance is 0.005%. - The first three different players to find a lucky block place in the event. - Explosive Pickaxes can contribute at most one contest point per swing. - Player-placed Creative blocks and Calcite do not count. ### Individual Fishing Individual Fishing is based on treasure rarity: - Below 30 players online, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic treasures qualify. - At 30 or more players, only Legendary and Mythic treasures qualify. - The first three different players to catch a qualifying treasure place. ### Cooperative Mining - The shared goal is 1,500 blocks per online player, with a minimum goal of 1,500. - You must contribute at least 750 blocks to earn the participation reward. - Explosive Pickaxes count at most one block per swing toward the contest. ### Cooperative Fishing - The shared goal is 25 catches per online player, with a minimum goal of 25. - You must contribute at least 12 catches to earn the participation reward. - Fish, treasure, junk, and other catches all count. ### Contest Rewards | Result | Virtual key reward | |---|---| | 1st place | 1 Epic Crate Key | | 2nd place | 1 Rare Crate Key | | 3rd place | 2 Uncommon Crate Keys | | Participation | 1 Uncommon Crate Key | If an individual contest does not find three winners before time expires, its participation fallback is used. ## Weekly Gang Competition The gang leaderboard resets every Sunday at 9:00 PM Eastern Time. Gang members build progress through mcMMO activity, and each eligible member of a top-three gang can claim a reward. See [Gangs and Bosses](/guides/gangs-and-bosses) for the exact rewards, shared-storage warning, and gang boss fights. ## Airdrops at The Pit Airdrops, also called Envoys, take place in The Pit. Use `/warp pit` to get there. - Automatic Airdrops are scheduled every two hours. - An event lasts five minutes and spawns between 7 and 11 crates. - At least 15 players must be online for an automatic event. - A newly spawned crate has a 15-second claim grace period. - After claiming a crate, you must wait eight seconds before claiming another. - An Airdrop Flare requires at least 15 players online and can only be activated in The Pit. Source reviewed: 2026-08-03T20:09:10.87945+00:00 Source: https://github.com/AiridaleMC/airidale-guides/blob/5cfaf58b85f1d6d4fc5755a7f21492e1efffc3ec/guides/junker-and-auto-junker.md ## Recycling Unwanted Items Junker NPCs let you dispose of unwanted items in exchange for money. 1. Open a Junker NPC. 2. Place up to 54 stacks in the Junker inventory. 3. Check the items carefully, then confirm the disposal. Accepted items are destroyed and the payout is added to your balance. If the payment cannot be completed, your items are returned. Protected items are also returned instead of being destroyed. Most materials without a special value pay $0.10 per item. You must wait one second between Junker actions. ## Protected Items The Junker will not accept these materials: - Diamond or Netherite Swords. - Diamond or Netherite Pickaxes. - Diamond or Netherite Axes. - Fishing Rods. - Totems of Undying. Protection is based on the material, but you should still inspect every batch before confirming. ## Example Payouts | Material | Money per item | |---|---:| | Copper Ingot | $0.20 | | Iron Ingot | $0.50 | | Gold Ingot | $1.00 | | Diamond | $2.00 | | Emerald | $5.00 | | Diamond Block | $18.00 | | Emerald Block | $45.00 | | Netherite Ingot | $25.00 | | Tropical Fish | $5.00 | | Pufferfish | $2.50 | | Crimson Stem or Warped Stem | $1.00 | These are recycling payouts and may differ from player-shop prices. ## Auto-Junker Auto-Junker is a Prestige 2 perk opened with `/junker auto`. It automatically recycles matching items shortly after you pick them up. - Your filter can contain up to 27 material types. - Only ordinary, unmodified items can be added. - Items with custom names, lore, damage, enchantments, or other special data are rejected. - Protected materials cannot be added. - Auto-Junker does not run in Creative mode. - Clearing the entire filter requires a shift-click confirmation. ## Recycling Statistics and Milestones Use `/junker stats` to see: - Your lifetime recycled-item total and money earned. - The number of different materials you have recycled. - Your favorite material and per-material totals. - Your weekly and all-time leaderboard positions. - Your completed recycling milestones. The leaderboards show the top 10 players. Weekly rankings follow Eastern Time. Item-count milestones are awarded at 100, 1,000, 10,000, 100,000, 1,000,000, and 10,000,000 recycled items. Unique-material milestones are awarded at 25, 100, 250, 500, and 750 different materials. ## Junker Chat The Junker can send a short summary after recycling a batch. You can enable or disable these messages with the personal Junker Chat setting. Type `[junker]` or `[junkered]` in chat to share your Junker statistics with other players. --- # Gangs, Weekly Rewards, and Gang Bosses Canonical URL: https://www.airidale.net/guides/gangs-and-bosses Category: Events & Community Summary: Create a gang, compete for weekly rewards, share storage, and challenge prison bosses. The weekly leaderboard rolls over every Sunday at 9:00 PM Eastern Time. ## Weekly Gang Rewards | Place | Reward for each eligible member | |---|---| | 1st | $200,000, 1 virtual Epic Crate Key, and temporary access to the `#1 Gang` tag for 7 days | | 2nd | $100,000 and 1 virtual Rare Crate Key | | 3rd | $50,000 and 1 virtual Uncommon Crate Key | Gangs can have up to five members and progress to level 100. Gang Chat unlocks at level 10, Alliances at level 50, and XP Share at level 100. ## Shared Gang Storage Gang storage is a communal inventory that every gang member can access. Any member can deposit or remove items, so only store something there if you are comfortable sharing it with the entire gang. Staff will not replace shared items taken by another member or lost after someone leaves the gang. ## Buying Gang Boss Keys Gang boss keys are physical Nether Star items sold by the Lunch Lady in the Keys & More shop. | Boss key | Scrap cost | Online, non-AFK gang members required | |---|---:|---:| | Contraband Kingpin | 750 | 2 | | Prison Executioner | 1,000 | 3 | | Prison Surgeon | 1,000 | 3 | | Prison Warden | 1,250 | 4 | These Scrap amounts are the prices of the keys, not guaranteed rewards from the bosses. ## Starting a Gang Boss Fight - Only the gang leader can activate a boss key. - Right-click the key, then right-click again when asked to confirm. - The required number of gang members must be online and not marked AFK. - Eligible online members are brought into the encounter when it begins. - Only one gang boss fight can run at a time. - A fight can last up to 15 minutes. - The key is kept if the fight cannot start correctly or too few members can enter. - The fight ends when the boss is defeated, time runs out, or no participants remain. ## Boss Rewards Gang bosses can drop experience, a Flare, and rare equipment. Eligible participants also receive Souls: | Boss | Souls | |---|---:| | Contraband Kingpin | 6–10 | | Prison Executioner | 8–14 | | Prison Surgeon | 8–14 | | Prison Warden | 12–18 | --- # Interactive Chat Canonical URL: https://www.airidale.net/guides/interactive-chat Category: Events & Community Summary: Share items and inventories, mention players, and use Airidale's interactive chat tags. Country and internet-provider tags share geolocation-derived information when you deliberately type them. Avoid using those tags if you do not want that information shown in chat. ## Mentions and Clickable Text - Type `@PlayerName` to mention a player. - Mentions play a sound and show a short notification. - You must wait 15 seconds before mentioning the same player again. - `@here` and `@everyone` are disabled. - Text written as `[/command]` becomes a clickable command suggestion. - Hovering over a recognized player name shows their gang, mcMMO Power Level, and playtime. --- # Referral Program Canonical URL: https://www.airidale.net/guides/referral-program Category: Events & Community Summary: Invite eligible new players and understand how Airidale referral rewards work. The existing player runs `/referral code` to view their six-character referral code. 2. Before the new player joins, the existing player runs `/referral invite `. 3. The invitation remains valid for seven days. 4. The new player receives a referral prompt when they first join. 5. The new player runs `/referral confirm ` within 60 seconds. 6. The new player has three attempts to enter the correct code. 7. When the referred player reaches C4, both players receive one virtual Epic Crate Key. The players do not need to be online together when the reward is delivered. Delivery can take up to about one minute after the referred player reaches C4. ## Managing Invitations - `/referral invites` lists your pending invitations. - `/referral cancel ` cancels a pending invitation. - `/referral decline` declines the referral offered on first join. - You can have up to 25 pending invitations. - You must wait 30 seconds before creating or refreshing another invitation. - An expired invitation can be created again. ## When a Referral Expires or Is Declined The first-join offer ends if the new player: - Does not confirm within 60 seconds. - Disconnects before confirming. - Uses `/referral decline`. - Enters an incorrect code three times. If the seven-day invitation expires before the new player joins, the inviter can create a new one. --- # Crates Canonical URL: https://www.airidale.net/guides/crates Category: Economy & Systems Summary: How to obtain crate keys and what the current reward pools contain.
